My Ride is a private transportation business based out of Wake Forest, NC. Small family business owners Kelly and Doug Blowe don’t want you to feel like another number to be transported. My Ride values all clients by striving to provide the best services by transporting you to any appointment or ride based need that you have.

I have 15 years of experience as a social worker in the group home and nursing home setting. In 2019, after losing both my parents to cancer, I felt the Lord calling me to do more to help aging adults and their families.
We saw a huge need for wheelchair accessible transportation was in the Wake Forest area so my husband and I launched My Ride, LLC in March 2019.
My goal is to assist clients and their families with providing services specifically tailored for wheelchair-bound, elderly and disabled individuals.
We are very excited about helping others and look forward to building friendships and caring for those in our community who need it the most.

My name is Doug Blowe and I reside in Wake Forest, NC with my wife Kelly and children Hannah, John and Lilly. I have spent the past 23 years as a Physical Education teacher and baseball coach in the public schools of North Carolina. I have a Class B Commercial Driver's License and have CPR certification. My educational background includes a B. S. in Physical Education from Barton College in Wilson, NC and an MAED from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. My family and I have called Wake Forest home for the past 10 years and we have seen tremendous growth in the area and we are so excited to provide this handicapped accessible service to members of the community who are in need.
